Solvent based products penetrate into grout, stone and masonry surfaces deeper than water based products due to their low surface tension. Solvent based products also dry more quickly than their water based counterparts allowing for quicker access to the job site. Water based products have the advantage of being more user friendly and are compatible with common spraying equipment.
