This cutter can be used for both flooring and roofing slate up to 1/4" thick. The 24" long handle provides adequate leverage for easy cutting. Has a hardened steel blade for long life. The flared base gives comfortable support against a tool belt when used for roofing slate. The handle has a saddle cover for extra strength over the nail hole punch. The nail hole punch is 1/8" diameter and located 9" from the cutting point of the blade. Has a 3-1/2" maximum cut per stroke. Supplied with two each 7/8" wide X 6" long material supports for optional use. Weighs about 5-1/2" lbs.
