Cuts in either direction and has a three position adjustable throat feature for carpets of varying pile height. Cutting height adjustments are made by using any of seven 1/16" thick shims. It is not necessary to remove shims to adjust throat depth. The metal handle is vinyl coated for comfort and has five working positions, including a horizontal position for working under toe spaces. Trimmer is supplied with 20 carpet trimmer blades and a plastic strip for mounting on the stainless steel angled wall runner to prevent wall marking. Other steel parts of trimmer are plated for rust prevention.
